The way we work, week by week
Our engagement model has not changed materially since 2021, because it works. Here is the whole thing, including the parts most agencies keep vague.
Weeks 1–2 · Discovery and commercial mapping
Two working sessions with you and, ideally, whoever answers your phones. We map service lines by margin, quantify sales capacity, agree the geography that matters, and define what counts as a qualified lead. Output: a one-page commercial brief that both sides sign.
Weeks 2–4 · Audit
Full technical crawl, index coverage review in both Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console, Core Web Vitals field data, backlink profile review, content inventory scored by intent, and a competitive gap analysis against three named rivals. Output: a prioritised remediation register with effort estimates.
Weeks 4–10 · Build and instrumentation
We ship fixes in priority order, working with your developer or ours. In parallel we rebuild measurement: GA4 events, call tracking, form attribution, CRM stitching, and a live dashboard. Nothing is declared complete until we can trace a test lead end to end.
Week 10 onwards · Compound
Monthly publishing cycles, paid search optimisation, quarterly technical re-audits and a scheduled strategy call on the second Tuesday of each month. Every change is logged in a shared register with date, owner and rationale.
Cadence
What lands in your inbox, and when
Weekly
A short written note: what shipped, what is next, anything that needs a decision from you.
Monthly
Performance report with commentary, including a "what did not work" section, plus a 45-minute call.
Quarterly
Technical re-audit, competitor movement review and a refreshed roadmap for the next twelve weeks.
Annually
Strategy reset with your leadership, benchmarked against the original commercial brief.
Tooling
What we run the work on
We are tool-agnostic and we pay for our own licences, but for transparency, these are the platforms in daily use across client accounts:
Bing Webmaster ToolsGoogle Search ConsoleGoogle Analytics 4Microsoft ClarityMicrosoft Advertising EditorScreaming FrogLooker StudioCallRailAhrefsPageSpeed Insights
Client-owned licences remain client-owned. Where a tool is billed through us, the cost appears as a separate line on your invoice at cost, never marked up.
Not sure where your search traffic is leaking?
Send us your domain. We will return a 12-point technical and commercial audit within three business days — no fee, no obligation, and no automated PDF dump.
